Keiro Developing

Author's note: This piece is a character development piece about a character in Incarceron. I showed who Keiro really is in Incarceron.

In the miniature prison, Incarceron, Finn’s oath-brother, Keiro, doesn’t change that much.
What doesn’t help him is that he was born in the prison, so he has known violence all of his life. He became oath brothers with Finn when Finn joined the group of prisoners he was in. Finn was soft and nice, while Keiro had to teach Finn the ways of the prison.
On their journey to the outside, Keiro didn’t change at all also. All what happened to Keiro is that he got filled with getting rich from Finn’s Kingdom. He still uses the ways of the prison. He kills with no mercy in cold blood. Keiro never changes who he is in the book Incarceron because of the prison and its way of life. The prisoners kill for food and control over the lands of the prison. So Keiro doesn’t change that much when he is in the Prison and who he is outside of the prison.

Problems in Incarceron

Authors Note: This is my Problem/Solution Piece. Look for how much detail I put into this piece.

In the book Incarceron the queen of the Realm puts her step-son,  the heir to the throne, in a miniature prison so her actual son can become queen. It works until the step-son finds a key to unlock the prison. The warden’s daughter, also finds a key to the prison so the two of them can communicate. The warden's daughter helps the prince escape the prison. The prince tries to get his companions our of the prison too, but his companions are stuck inside the miniature prison.

Cody and the Golden Hook

Authors Note: I predicted the story of Buried Treasure to end like this because some things should be left alone. He didn't inherit the golden hook from Clarence, so he shouldn't take it.

Cody started his stove with a bucket and water on it. He's in his house and there's a bang at the door. BANG! Cody was scared because it's around midnight and nobody is really up this late. Cody walked over to the door and opened it. There's nobody there, so he closed the door and walked back to the kitchen. Then there were three more bangs at the door. BANG! BANG! BANG! He went over to the door again. Nobody there. By then the bucket was hot enough to melt the golden hook. He put the gold hook in the bucket and at the same time, all the lights went out. All over town the lights went out. BANG! BANG! BANG!, at the door again. The wind was howling outside and lightning struck in the forest. BANG! BANG! BANG! Cody was getting really scared. He opened up the door. No one there again. Cody wondered, is it all in my mind or is it real. That was when he remembered about the hook. He thought it was all happening because of the hook. He thought it’s all real. He then took the hook out of the bucket, wrapped it in cloth because it was hot from the boiling water and so he wouldn’t burn himself, and sprinted out the door. He sprinted through the thick, dense woods, all the way to Clarence’s house. Once he got there, he dug out the hole Clarence was buried in. He put the hook with Clarence, and buried him once again. After that, he sprinted back to his house as fast as he could. When he got back home, the knocking stopped, nothing at all was weird for the rest of week. The power came back on, and everything seemed to go back to how it was before the hook incident again.

Thank You Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones

Authors Note: I think the story Thank you ma'am would end like this because I think you can change someone, and they can stay changed. Also people run into each other on accident sometimes, and the people they run into, some of them could be people you met only once.

She led him down the hall to the front door and opened it. "Goodnight!" Behave yourself, boy!" she said, looking out into the street.
The boy wanted to say something else other that "Thank you, ma’am" to Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones, but he couldn’t do so as he turned at the barren stoop and looked back at the large woman in the door. He barely managed to say "Thank you" before she shut the door.
5 years later, Roger encountered Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones on the street. He was well fed, has nice clean clothes on, and had excellent manners. Rodger ran into Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones when he was walking to the Grocery Store, and was thinking about inviting over Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones to his house, and then realized his foster parents didn’t want him to have friends over. He came up to Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones and said “Hello Mrs. Jones”
She turned around and asked in a loud voice “Who are you? Why are you bothering me?”
“Don’t you remember me? Its Rodger.” Rodger Answered.
“Rodger you’ve grown” She said.
“Want some dinner at the Diner?” Rodger Asked.
“No thank you. I already ate my supper tonight.”
“Well want to take a walk. I’ll take you back to your home.”
“Ok.”
As they walked home Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones asked some questions to Rodger.
“Rodger, what has happened since the last time I saw you.” Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones.
“I have been really good in the five years you haven’t seen me. Well I’ve graduated high school, and currently going to college. I’m going to UCLA. Thank you maim for helping me on the right path, to be good to others, and I have foster parents, gone to college just because of you, I also got a job. I’m working at McDonalds, and I get a good pay.”
As they reached Mrs. Jones front door she said “Well good for you Rodger, I’ve just gotten Cancer and I’m going to survive it. Well, I have to go Rodger. Thank you for your company.”
Just then Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones shut the door and gnever said goodbye to Rodger, but after that night, on the streets, Rodger never saw Mrs. Luella Bates Washington Jones ever again. Not in 5 years, not never again.
